Educator of the Year: Jackie Hall

The role of an athletic director in a kindergarten setting is not typically found in traditional educational institutions. Kindergarten programs primarily focus on early childhood education and development, with an emphasis on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. However, if we were to consider the hypothetical scenario of having an athletic director specifically for a kindergarten program, there are several potential benefits and considerations to explore.

With nearly three decades of experience in school athletics, Jackie Hall is a veteran specializing in elementary physical education. Devoting most of her career to West Bourbon Elementary School, Jackie is the junior high athletic director of kindergarten to junior high students. As a highly experienced coach, Jackie coaches volleyball and track. Ms. Hall is exceptionally proud of her long association, loyalty to West Bourbon, and positive relationship with its staff.

Ms.Hall was recognized by her alma mater, Pittsburg State University, with an Outstanding Young Educator Award. Jackie attributes her longevity to the support her friends, colleagues, and mentors have given her and her parents, who were both teachers before her.
