Featured Educator: Joan McQuillan

With high morale and extended experience, Joan McQuillan is an expert in teaching performance assessments known for preparing young men and women for lives of successful leadership and service.

Through hard work and dedication, Joan earned her Master of Education Leadership Degree.

Before becoming Education TPA Coordinator and Student College Teaching Coordinator, McQuillan was a Visiting Professor in Education at Illinois College. Joan’s research includes Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning, Life History, Sociocultural Literacy Studies, Teacher Education, and Ethics in Pre-service.

Joan has exhibited widespread success through her dedication, specializing in teaching performance assessment and all aspects of education and learning. Joan is known for her high enthusiasm while teaching and believes in the vitality of education. She enjoys reading, cooking, music, and spending time with her family in her spare time.
