An entrepreneur is an individual who starts and operates a business, taking on financial risks in order to pursue opportunities and create value. They are often characterized by their innovative thinking, risk-taking mindset, and ability to identify and capitalize on market gaps or unmet needs.

A dedicated entrepreneur, Ms. Dedenbach serves as the founder and president for Heavenly Sweet California, Heavenly Sweet Nevada, and SD Pantry Inc. Before embarking upon her current profession, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in business and corporate communications from the University of Phoenix in 2009. She established Heavenly Sweet, an award-winning cannabis-infused edibles manufacturer, in 2008 and established a location in Nevada in 2021. Notably, her company garnered a reputation as the first cannabis edibles manufacturer in California to begin lab-testing her products for clarity and potency in 2010. It imposed a dosing schedule nearly a decade before it was mandated. In addition to her primary career endeavors, Ms. Dedenbach has contributed to Rolling Stone Culture Council since 2021.

After founding her business in her kitchen, Ms. Dedenbach's production has grown to a 9000-square-foot facility, with products available in more than 600 stores. In her current role as the president, she handles day-to-day operations, marketing, and advertising for the company while also actively engaging in product development with the assistance of her experienced food-crafting team. Ms. Dedenbach also oversees the graphic artists and content creators of their social media and other digital platforms.

Throughout her career, Ms. Dedenbach has won multiple awards for her products. She credits her success to her hard work, dedication to quality, consistent and reliable products, and expert staff. Her commitment has always been to lead with integrity and follow up with customer service. Looking toward the future, she plans to launch another branch of her company in Nevada, followed by additional states. Ms. Dedenbach also intends to contribute to different philanthropic activities, giving some of her success back to the community through support and training of other aspiring entrepreneurs, including mentoring equity vendors in the cannabis business space.
