LPNs are essential members of the healthcare team, providing direct patient care, emotional support, accurate documentation, administrative assistance, and advocacy. Their contributions improve patient outcomes, enhance the patient experience, and promote efficient healthcare delivery. LPNs play a vital role in bridging the gap between RNs and nursing assistants, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
Driven to help others early, Flora Sowell wanted a healthcare career. Compelled to help people, especially older people, Sowell went into senior care to reach both success and gratification by making someone’s day better by assisting.
Acquiring an LPN from Central Piedmont Community College, Flora dedicated herself to being a healthcare professional looking up to people like Dr. Kildare and Ben Casey. They have been influential in her career. Through years of drive and success, Flora became the owner of her own business, Flo’s Home Health Care, where she supplies her patients with maximum comfort while in their homes.
Ms. Sowell is known for her immense impact on every one of her patients, even once receiving the gift of an inheritance from a patient she had worked with closely. The Charlotte Observer published an article about her incredible nursing skills. To stay professionally updated and involved, Ms. Sowell has affiliated with NALPN and the Alzheimer’s Association.
